We are looking for a Warranty Services Claims Examiner, who will be responsible for the receiving and organizing warranty claim materials; which includes electronically archiving warranty documents and the retention of product samples.  Also required are the physical handling, sorting, storage and retrieval of products of various sizes, weighing up to 25 lbs per package. This position will report to the Warranty Services Supervisor. 


Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


·          Receive and open packages.

·          Accurately tag product samples for identification and retention.

·          Accurate sorting, scanning, and review of various types of documents, possibly received from difference sources and at various times, for each warranty claim. 

·          Scan photographs and documents, ensuring legibility and accuracy; flagging illegible and / or inaccurate documents.

·          Photograph submitted products and upload files for attachment to the electronic file.

·          Maintenance of a physical filing and storage system, including files in various stages of processing.

·          Work closely with Warranty Laboratory Technicians to effectively time the staging and transportation of products between control room, laboratory, and storage, maintaining an optimum workflow throughout the warranty process

·          Keep control room and storage sheds in orderly condition.


A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of one year work experience.  Must possess ability to learn the GAF product line both historical and current; ability to qualify for forklift certification.  Demonstrated ability to efficiently and accurately use an office-based computer for communication and documentation.  Ability to work independently, consistently and accurately in a fast paced environment.
